Troubleshooting Common Issues

Camera or microphone not working

Ensure your browser has permission to access your camera and microphone. Click the camera icon in your browser's address bar to grant permissions. For Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Site Settings → Camera/Microphone.

Cannot join video consultation

Check that you have a stable internet connection and are using a supported browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge). Clear your browser cache and cookies if the issue persists. Ensure you're using the consultation link provided by your doctor.

Poor video or audio quality

Close other applications that might be using bandwidth. Move closer to your WiFi router or use a wired connection. Ensure no one else is streaming video on your network during the consultation. Consider turning off video temporarily if audio is more important.

Consultation ended unexpectedly

Your doctor will contact you to reschedule if technical issues occur. Check your email for a new consultation link. If the issue persists, contact our support team for immediate assistance.

Privacy and security concerns

All Eden Clinic video consultations are encrypted end-to-end using Zoom's healthcare-grade security. Recordings are only made with explicit consent. Your consultation data is protected under UK GDPR and healthcare regulations.

Eden Clinic's Zoom integration works best with the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Please update your browser to the latest version. Mobile users should use the Zoom app for the best experience.
